What we store
Only what you need for the app to work: your account (email address and display name, via AWS Cognito) and the data you enter — your home and current city, the people/teams/companies you add (their names, timezones, notes, tags), travel schedules, weekly availability, favorites, and pairs you create. We do not collect analytics, run advertising, use tracking cookies, or profile you.
Where it’s stored
Your data lives in Amazon DynamoDB in the AWS Europe (Frankfurt, eu-central-1) region. Authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito. Hosting is on AWS (CloudFront + Lambda). A single, strictly-necessary session cookie (__meridian, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) keeps you signed in — it is signed, not sold, and contains only your account identifier.
Third parties
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers to fetch them. No other third-party services receive your personal data. Sub-processors (Amazon Web Services, Inc.) process data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement.
Legal basis & retention
Processing is based on the performance of a contract and your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a),(b) GDPR). We keep your data until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, or to have your account and data deleted, email info@sp33c.tech.
