Who is responsible

What we store
Only what you need for the app to work: your account (email address and display name, via AWS Cognito) and the data you enter — your home and current city, the people/teams/companies you add (their names, timezones, notes, tags), travel schedules, weekly availability, favorites, and pairs you create. We do not collect analytics, run advertising, use tracking cookies, or profile you.
Where it’s stored
Your data lives in Amazon DynamoDB in the AWS Europe (Frankfurt, eu-central-1) region. Authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito. Hosting is on AWS (CloudFront + Lambda). A single, strictly-necessary session cookie (__meridian, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) keeps you signed in — it is signed, not sold, and contains only your account identifier.
Third parties
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers to fetch them. No other third-party services receive your personal data. Sub-processors (Amazon Web Services, Inc.) process data on our behalf under a data-processing agreement.
Analytics (only if you allow it)
If you agree to analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-KZQ6PH4N9H), operated by Google Ireland Limited. It sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies and records: pages you visit, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address (IP anonymisation is on), device, browser and language, referring site, and which features you use — for example opening the upgrade page or creating a share link. It does not receive your name, email address, contacts or time zones. Data may be processed in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time in Settings — that stops the tag loading and deletes the cookies from this browser. If you decline, no Google script is loaded at all.
Legal basis & retention
Processing is based on the performance of a contract and your consent (Art. 6 (1)(a),(b) GDPR). We keep your data until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, at any time, without asking us: in the app under Settings → Delete account, or on the web under worldteamclock.app/settings. It removes your profile, your people, your trips, your time slots, your pairs and your share links from our servers at once, together with your sign-in. It cannot be undone.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, or to have your account and data deleted, email info@sp33c.tech.
